All our carbon dioxide tanks have a 320 CGA Gas Valve fitting. This fitting is standard fitting for all USA and Canada. The 320 CGA fitting has a 0.825-14 NGO right hand thread and will mate with all of our regulators and filling devices. All tanks with this CGA 320 fitting are refillable in the USA and Canada. All our 8, 12, and 16 gram bulbs are not refillable. We only ship empty Aluminum CO2 tanks, empty Nitrogen and Beer Gas cylinders and 8, 12, and 16 gram CO2 chargers. 12, and 16 gram CO2 chargers must be shipped as UPS or truck - HAZARDOUS MATERIAL and a $25.00 hazardous materials handling charge will be added to the cost of the shipping.
All Aluminum tanks are new and sold empty so they may be shipped at normal UPS or trucking rates.
NOTE: CO2 cylinders and chargers are filled with liquid CO2 and as such will maintain the same pressure in the cylinder or charger as long as liquid remains in the tank. The majority of the carbon dioxide (CO2) weight in a tank is liquid weight, only the head space of the tank contains gas. Because the bulk of the CO2 weight is liquid, as long as the bottle contains liquid (or is full) the bottle pressure read on a high pressure regulator gage does not represent anything but the tanks temperature. The gage pressure can never represent the quantity of CO2 remaining in the tank until all the liquid is gone. The amount of CO2 remaining in a tank can only be is determined by the weight of the tank and contents less the tare weight (TW) of the tank. The tare weight is printed (stamped) on the neck of the CO2 bottle.
If you are in a real bind about obtaining a bottle buy it from us. If you can get it locally, buy it from them. They will be supplying your gas anyway. Save yourself the shipping charge and support local businesses - buy tanks locally. The KegMan.
Note: All 8 gram CO2 chargers or bulbs are DOT classified as ORM-D and cannot be shipped by Air. All CO2 chargers or bulbs over 8 grams are DOT hazardous Material and that charge will apply to each box shipped. We suggest you use truck shipment for multiple case purchases.
