The KegMan's cold plate cooler and coil cooler draft boxes are perfect answers to your summer time picnic draft beer dispensing needs. Each product is designed to do a different task. COLD PLATE COOLERS are recommended when the internal temperature of the draft beer keg can be maintained cooler than 55°F (13°C) and will continuously dispense draft beer at 36°F (2°C). COIL COOLERS (boxes) using 120 feet of coil is recommended over cold plate coolers when the internal draft beer keg is over 55°F (13°C). Room temperature beer can be continuously dispensed from a faucet at 40°F to 42°F.

	KegManCoil Coolers also called draft boxes or cold boxes.   COIL COOLERS or cold boxes ­ Use cube ice and water in a coil cooler (coil box or draft box) and drain water as required to add ice. Set pressure at 40 to 45 psi for room temperature beer and lower pressure as beer keg temperature lowers.
	COLD PLATE COOLERS or cold boxes - Use ice only in a cold plate cooler Set pressure at 30 to 35 psi for 50°F beer and lower pressure as beer keg temperature lowers below 50°.

Tips for coil and plate cold boxes:

• Clean with B*L*C* or very hot water after every use.
• Before disconnecting the keg, bleed off excess CO₂to 10­12 psi to prevent over carbonation of any remaining beer.
• Cold plates must be in contact with ice only (no water) in order to function properly. Coils should be kept under water with ice always present in the water.
• Order keg connector(s) (beer taps), Jumper(s) (jumpers are beer line with nuts, nipples and washers at both ends), CO₂Regulator & CO₂tank. All cold boxes come with faucet(s), faucet knob(s), internal hoses, couplers, coils or cold plates.
• Colors available are Red, White and Blue with White Tops but are not always available. All 25 Quart coolers are available in red only. All colors are not always available and we will substitute another color when required.
